Our non-profit seeks to increase Jewish non- formal education for women and girls and also to increase the number and level of Jewish studies classes that are taught by woman scholars.
The organizers are all volunteers, and our activity focuses in the Jewish community of our local municipality- Givat Shmuel, Israel.
For this purpose, we organize weekly lectures, classes, seminars and one-time events for women and for the general public, taught mostly by women scholars. Some of these classes are given by volunteers and the others are paid and funded by the participants and by donations.
Even if the teacher is not paid, a class still has costs such as advertising, refreshments and administrative costs. Donations help us keep the costs reasonable for participants, thus allowing more people to take part in the activities.
