Feed a Family Project Modiin was established to introduce a coordinated approach to help alleviate food shortages for local families. We have neighbours, friends and children who are hungry and desperate, but usually too embarrassed to reach out for help directly. Multiple charitable institutions within Modiin rely on Feed a Family to distribute monthly food packages to those in need. Families are validated in a discreet but thorough manner by qualified individuals and lists are regularly reviewed. 100% of donations puts food on the table for local Modi’in residents who need it. The success of the Feed a Family project lies in its straight- forward approach. Run entirely by volunteers, packages are prepared and delivered from the supermarket to the recipient homes in a dignified manner. Families rely on these consistent packages containing staple groceries.
