The mission of the Natan’s Light Foundation is to eternalize the memory and emulate the values of Natan to youth and soldiers serving in the IDF, the values of strength, giving, commitment to the mission, ambition, Zionism, love of fellow man and country, and a meaningful service in the IDF. The activities organized by the foundation include- arranging study days for the commanders and soldiers of the 46th battalion of the armored corps. This was the battalion in which Natan served as both a simple soldier and eventually as an officer, and with whom he fought in the “Tzuk Eitan” war, in which he was killed during combat. Each year these study days are dedicated to one of the IDF’s units.
Jeep tours for special needs children, with an emphasis on the value of giving.
Arranging study days for high school students on the legacy and values of Captain Natan Cohen.
A variety of activities with a focus on giving to one’s fellow man.
Assistance for high risk youth in drafting to a meaningful service in the IDF.
