The Pisgat Ono community was born in 2013 in the organization of several families from the Pisgat Ono neighborhood for Saturday night prayers in private homes, in the belief that in time the municipality will allocate a permanent place for prayers in the neighborhood.
The desire came to fruition only after four years of anticipation and thanks to the help of Mayor Mr. Israel Gal and his deputy Mr. Naftali Cohen, a small community center classroom was assigned to a community for dual-use activities, on weekdays - class studios and on Saturdays and holidays
The community of the "Yahad" synagogue unites within it a variety of customs and committees in a combined version that distinguishes the synagogue.
The synagogue is a magnet for the residents of the neighborhood who celebrate their joys in it (especially bar mitzvah events)
Recently, the synagogue association won a municipal tender for the construction of a permanent synagogue in the existing building
(32 Yitzhak Rabin Street) on the third floor. Construction is expected to begin this coming July.
The community and the synagogue are a warm home and a pleasant place for prayer and Torah study for all the residents of the area.
