Lo Omdot Me’negged (Assisting Women in the Cycle of Prostitution

Lo Omdot MeNegged began as a Facebook group in 2017 and became a registered nonprofit in 2018. Our mission is to help women survivors of prostitution in Israel regain control of their bodies and lives by providing them with instrumental and emotional support as well as by fighting to reduce the stigma associated with prostitution in Israeli society. The assistance we provide is varied and tailored to the specific needs of each woman. Our range of services includes helping survivors gain access to legal assistance, studies, or childcare; one-on-one emotional support; bill subsidies; dental care financing; providing food and furniture; accompaniment to medical procedures, and referrals to other pertinent organizations among other things. It is our goal to fill the current service gap by offering the kind of support that other organizations working with this population do not offer.
