The Neve Pardesim is a decades-old revitalized neighborhood in Pardes Hanna that has enjoyed a huge influx of new families within in the last three and a half years. The result is a neighborhood with of Neve Pardesim has beautiful tall apartment buildings alongside townhouses and private homes, lush green childrens’ parks, a commercial shopping center, and, above all – wonderful people. A community has formed sprung up here from seemingly out of nothing – young people and mature adultsold, Ashkenazim and Sephardim, natives and olim, self-employed professionals and salaried employees, wearing kippot colorful kippas, and black kippas, and even heads without no-kippas, and headscarves in all colors and styles, and heads withoutor not at all –. The thing that unites us all is the enthusiasm associated withpeople who want have come to being a part of something different that offers a place for everyoneall. Neve Pardesim’s vibrant community is a caring community with is abuzz with Torah classes, volunteering and chessed activities, volunteering, giving, kindness, withand a lothigh level of community involvement, and taking care of responsibility forone other.
One thing, however, is missing.
Neve Pardesim, despite having the largest community in Pardes Hanna,The neighborhood has no synagogue — , no venue for celebrating life- cycle events, for holding classes, for community gatherings.
For the past three and a half years this growing community has come together forbeen holding regular prayersynagogue services, celebrating bar/bas mitzvah and hachnasat sefer Torah celebrations, life cycle events, and gathering for Torah learningclasses under the open sky, in the rain and cold of winterrainy weather and theon famously hot Pardes Hannahhot summers days.,
Eight years ago we first dreamt of building a neighborhood synagogue, a synagogue that would mark a new stage in the development of our community, that would be the spiritual center for everyone here.
Over the past few years, we’ have taken practicalconcrete steps toward making that dream a reality, and now we are turning to you for your support.
In these troubled times, when there are deepening chasms and widening rifts in society, we invite you to partner with us in building a synagogue that will be a place for everyone.
Your partnership will help us to realize our dreams, to grow and flourish as a community, and serve the spiritual needs of the wonderful human mosaic that is Neve Pardesim.
