Ohr Simcha′s objectives are to help, rehabilitate and give a warm and safe environment for children at risk from all over Israel. Our primary objective is to have the children entrusted in our care break the cycle of abuse and poverty from where they come and for them to grow up to be healthy individuals, productive citizens and establish wholesome families of their own with proper values.
Our mission is simple: infuse the lives of our children as well as the entire world with light and joy to counter all the darkness of abuse, addiction, neglect, poverty, despair, and lack of values. Ohr Simcha is here to serve as a therapeutic campus and home for boys ages 6-14 that have been orphaned, abandoned, abused and/or exploited. To combine learning and individual care in unique ways that enables every child to achieve his fullest potential. These children are to be productively occupied while constantly learning and discovering. Yet at the same time they are given enough freedom and support to develop as solid individuals with the opportunity to become leaders of tomorrow. Provide children with dark pasts the necessary tools for a bright future.
