Rakia was founded by a group of pilots in the Israeli Air Force (IAF) who have come together to build a leadership academy powered by IAF heritage, values and proven practices.
As a Mechina, our vision is to build a better future for Israel through leadership, excellence and diversity.
Our gap year is not meant for creating IAF pilots. We use our values and culture to try and foster a young group of leaders charged with responsibility for the future of the state of Israel. We focus on understanding the complex Israeli society, meeting and exploring its issues first hand, and giving back to the community through volunteer-work and different community projects.
