Today, the organization works across the country, specializing mainly in helping the sick and addressing their personal needs, giving personal attention to the special needs of each sick individual.
HaKav HaMeached works with the goal of supporting, following, and easing the burden of children suffering from rare disabilities and terror victims and their families, with the aid of a staff of professional volunteers. We provide a wide variety of activities, including bar mitzvas, celebrations, making dreams a reality, and vacation camps in Israel and abroad.
HaKav HaMeached has been sustained since its founding through the aid of good people who have given not only their souls, but of their money as well. These people have stood by the organization, helping it administratively, financially, and in the fundraising effort.
HaKav HaMeached has an established and organized circle of friends, headed by respectable public figures, rabbis, doctors, and leading businessmen. The goal of the friends is to expand the range of activities on behalf of the community with the participation of members of the community themselves and within the community, in spirit and in actuality.
The organization is registered wit the Registrar of Associations (Registered Organization 580356939), approved as a non-profit organization, run according to proper business methods according to registrar's regulations, approved according to Section 46 of the Income Tax Ordinance regarding donations.
