The Society for The Blind Haifa, is an independent NGO, is the only Society, serving The Low Vision population in the whole Haifa region. Our mission is to help the blind and visually impaired , all ages to integrate fully into society and to the world of occupation and studies, and to improve their quality of life. We supply leisure activities, support groups both individual and general assistance, emotional help, economic and social support, to ease losing sight process, all with the help of 197 devoted volunteers. Our Motto is to act by performing joint ventures to widen services for our people with less expenses: We have our blind children club together with the Education Office, as well as providing social and support services by joining the Dept. of Rehabilitation in The Haifa Municipality as well as with The Light House Organization.
