"Shrinking The Conflict" is a non-partisan, nonprofit organization founded by Israelis from both political spectrums. Our objective is to foster a pragmatic mindset in addressing the complex Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Our vision is anchored in solidifying the future of Israel as a Jewish, democratic, and secure state. We strive to illuminate the existing consensus within the Israeli society, transcending divisions of left and right.
Our strategy encompasses grassroots efforts, harnessing new media platforms and influencing public opinion leaders to sow the seeds of a transformative way of thinking. We aim to inspire everyone, from citizens to elected officials, to embrace a conflict-mitigating approach, turning this strategy from a mere concept to a tangible reality.
We assert that, akin to the way we continually seek to mitigate climate change, crime, and traffic incidents, a similar approach should be applied to the conflict. This conflict-shrinking perspective will foster an intermediary situation where Palestinians will have the ability to manage Palestinian life without harming the lives of Israelis. This situation, of functioning self-government that does not harm Israel, will bring the end of the conflict closer while safeguarding Israeli interests.
