"Woman to Woman" was born out of the feminist movement in the 1970's and was established as a non-profit organization in 1983. Hundreds of women have worked tirelessly throughout the years, out of a radical feminist standpoint, to assert their rights and those of women and girls in this country, and out of the realization that justice, equality, peace and security belong to everyone: Jews, Palestinians, Mizrahi women, women from Ethiopia and the former USSR, religious women, secular women, observant women, women without legal status, women with disabilities, at all ages, identities, sexual orientations and financial statuses. Today, "Woman to Woman" is a diverse, multigenerational and vibrant community that includes young women.
Historically, feminist organizations worldwide have led the way to a world that has more justice, equality, and sustainability. Today, in light of the new challenges posed by the current Israeli government, it is more important than ever to have a strong "Woman to Woman".
We invite you to join us and celebrate forty years of activity, in an effort to take part in a more equal public space. Together with you, we look back on what we have achieved, think about the challenges ahead, and plan a better future.
