"Shva Almot" is a women's facility in Sderot. The facility is intended for women from all over the country, Sderot, and the surrounding areas, providing a variety of services for women within the circle of family and femininity.
At the core of the facility, both physically and conceptually, is a spa like, bomb protected, mikveh. The mikveh is beautifly designed for the immersion of women and brides on the eve of their weddings. The concept of purification and renewal gave rise to the entire facility and its activities, extending beyond the mikveh to include bathhouses, meeting rooms, clinics for body and soul treatments and various activities for women.
The facility was established by the entrepreneur Shulamit Kortzueil, a resident of Sderot, with full support from the municipality of Sderot. Grounded in the belief in the wisdom found in the cycle of female renewal as a way of life, the facility encourages a space for meetings, gatherings, self-care, and emerging renewed into the world with purity in all aspects.
