The Citizens Build a Community association was established in 2004 by residents and professionals who live and work in the city of Lod and the surrounding area, with the aim of promoting conflict resolution, social change and effective solutions to crime, violence, drug use and poverty. The association implements projects that focus on the needs of the population of Lod, which includes Jews and Arabs, some of whom live in distressed neighborhoods.
