Hitkashroot – Connecting Hearts, Healing Divides
Hitkashroot (“Connection”) is a one-of-a-kind Israeli nonprofit dedicated to healing families and communities torn by religious differences.
For over 18 years, we have supported individuals and families experiencing the challenges of teshuva (returning to religion) and yetziah beshe’ela (leaving religion).
These processes often create painful conflict, social isolation, and emotional distress — for couples, parents, and especially for children caught between two worlds.
Our programs provide therapy-based workshops, dialogue groups, and community support for:
💛 Families and couples learning to bridge ideological gaps
💛 Children and youth from divided homes
💛 Young adults leaving the ultra-Orthodox world without family support
Hitkashroot is the only organization in Israel that embraces both sides of the religious spectrum, helping people reconnect — to themselves, to their families, and to each other.
Because healing the heart of a family means healing the heart of Israel.
