The Foundation for Social Involvement, which operates the Unitaf project, was established in 2004 with the aim of putting an end to the phenomenon of dangerous and unsupervised daycares in the foreign community in Israel. Our unique model pioneers educational frameworks for status-less children, endorsed by the Prime Minister's Office and Ministries of Welfare and Economy as a gold standard for community-based early education. At Unitaf, we champion the belief that education is not a privilege but a fundamental human right, striving to provide proper and quality early education for all children, regardless of their status.
Our impactful work is executed on three levels:
Operational Excellence: We currently operate and supervise 47 educational frameworks dedicated to children aged 0-6 nationwide, ensuring a strong foundation for their future.
Community Empowerment: In-depth community work that aims to bring about a change in regards to proper and high-quality care for preschool children.
Advocacy and Collaboration: Recognizing the importance of systemic change, we engage in advocacy and lobby stakeholders within relevant government ministries. Our goal is to guarantee that the rights of every child are not just acknowledged but actively safeguarded.
Join us in creating a lasting impact by supporting Unitaf. Together, let's build a future where every child has equal access to quality education and a chance to thrive.
