NATAL - Israel Trauma and Resiliency Center

NATAL - the Israel Trauma and Resiliency Center is an apolitical non-profit organization which provides a unique, multidisciplinary model of psychological support to victims of trauma due to terror and war. Since its establishment in 1998, NATAL has touched the lives of over 500,000 men, women and children in Israel through its Helpline, Clinical Unit, Community Outreach Unit, Trauma Studies Center, Mobile Unit, Social Therapeutic Club and Testimonial Center. NATAL is a recognized expert in the field of war and terror-related trauma, and aims to advance the resiliency of Israeli society through treatment, prevention, public awareness and research. As COVID-19 infiltrated the borders of Israel, NATAL quickly expanded its services to aid those dealing with stress, fear, and anxiety due to COVID-19. Many of these anxieties and fears mirror those typically experienced during periods of national insecurity and war, for which NATAL holds unrivaled expertise. These new initiatives have been carried out in addition to NATAL’s routine services for those suffering from trauma as a result of terror and war in Israel.
