The Snunit Association for the Advancement of Web-Based Learning in Israel (non-profit organization), founded by the Hebrew University, was established in 1999 as an innovative and leading organization with the goal of contributing to education in Israel by integrating technology into teaching, learning, and assessment processes. The association specializes in developing experiential learning environments through which we create a meaningful, enjoyable, and innovative learning process tailored to the needs of students and helping them maximize their potential in an ever-changing world.
Within Snunit operates the "Invitation to Piyut" initiative, aimed at preserving, making accessible, and revitalizing the piyut and prayer traditions of the Jewish people. The initiative runs the Piyut and Tefillah website, which contains over 10,000 diverse recordings, a variety of educational programs, cultural activities, and more.
