Maslan, the Negev's only Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Support Center, has been dedicated to helping survivors for over 30 years. In the aftermath of October 7th, we have seen a significant influx of over 1,000 cases, with approximately 20% directly connected to the ongoing war. Our clients encompass a diverse range of trauma, including survivors and witnesses of violence, evacuees in hotels, and individuals with past experiences of sexual assault triggered by recent events. We currently employ 12 expert trauma therapists and maintain our 24/7 hotline staffed by over 50 volunteers, offering individual and group therapy, including therapeutic yoga, art therapy, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Maslan provides holistic support through personalized case management, legal assistance, and medical . Our mission is to restore dignity, rebuild lives, and strengthen communities devastated by violence.
