Etgarim

For over 30 years, Etgarim (Challenges in Hebrew) has been a home to thousands of children and adults with disabilities across Israel by providing a meaningful community for all - members, volunteers, employees, and donors. Our activities are open to all people with physical, cognitive, communication, mental and sensory disabilities of all ages. Etgarim empowers and socially integrates children and adults with disabilities and helps them find their inner strengths and to connect and broaden their abilities through various sports: bicycles, rope park, running and walking, sailing, diving, kayaking, water skiing, adventure trips, jeeps, karting, surfing, swimming and special projects. Every year about 5,000 children and youth and about 1,000 adults take part in our activities, with the help of 1,500 volunteers. We have been given the privilege for the last decades to help thousands of people overcome the limitations of the body and mind through the will power of the human spirit.
