Swimming to mark 15 years of Jeremy's Circle
Donors: 46
Many of you know that I have been involved with Jeremy’s Circle since its founding 15 years ago. The charity was established in memory of my close friend, Jeremy Coleman, who passed away after bravely battling cancer. Jeremy left behind a wife and 3 young children. We set up Jeremy’s Circle to provide fun days, activities and support for the many children who find themselves having to face the challenge of having a parent or sibling with cancer. The support we give provides them with a small slice of normality. It reminds them that it’s ok to still have fun, to smile and to enjoy things.
Three years ago, to mark 12 years since Jem’s death, I swam 120 lengths (3km) to raise money to support our activities. This year I have decided to swim 150 lengths to mark 15 years.
If you feel you can contribute to this worthy cause by sponsoring me in this challenge, please do so using the link on this page.
Your donation is really appreciated.
