The government is handing out budgets for the military, for religious extremism, for its allies, and has left nothing for us. The government and its branches carry a huge eraser that deletes women from the national budget, from the public arena, from key positions, from fair housing, from civil rights, and expects men to take part in gender-based violence. We at Woman to Woman are here to fight. Because Woman to Woman is a revolution. Gender-based violence is made up of a series of actions: unequal pay, eviction of women from public housing, lack of response and bullying of women without legal status, ignoring the power balance that is fertile ground to various forms of offense, inequality in representation of women, intervention in reproductive issues, intervention in sexuality, encouragement of use of guns and more. Woman to Woman needs you. As the current government works to remove women from the public arena and continues to legitimize and encourage gender-based violence, it is mandatory for feminist organizations to have the financial power to continue their struggle for equal rights for all, regardless of the whims of public servants. For forty years, "Woman to Woman" has led a conceptual and activist revolution in which we define the agenda, and we need your financial support and alliance to continue to set the tone. We request a few minutes of your time and any amount you can contribute to the success of our campaign, so we can continue to be the feminist organization that we are: a multi-generational community that has worked for decades to eliminate discrimination and create a better society for women, men, and all others. One cannot imagine feminist in our region without Woman to Woman – the organization that realizes that equality for women is equality for all women: women who suffer from poverty, women under occupation, women with no legal status, women of different cultures and ethnicities, women with disabilities and women of all sexual orientations – so that they all have a better future. We need you so we can continue being the physical space in which feminist debate occurs, which has sparked a diversity of actions to reach out to women who have been discriminated against, to various communities, and to the general public. We need you so that we may build the next generation and give younger women the tools to maintain hope, to work under difficult circumstances and to plan a future in which their financial and personal security are not up for negotiation. We need you so we can create men's communities that bravely and courageously ask what equal and worthy masculinity looks like, in a time where they are under great pressure to be masters. We have been working for forty years and plan on working for another 120, hoping that in the future we will only have to preserve the achievements of our struggle. We invite you to look at all the places in which we've marched, shouted, opened a door, come in through a window, and look curiously upon the things we still aspire to do.
