Avi Nof Farm - Agriculture. Zionism. Mission

Israel and Sara Rappaport, and our three daughters founded Nof Havat AVI - Avraham and Yefa Mintz, the late settlement pioneers and Israel's grandparents. The farm was established 3 years ago on the outskirts of Salfit, and Ariel. We won and this is the third point we settle. Our goal in this mission is to strengthen our grip on areas C, and preserve state lands. We graze our sheep every day for 7 hours in all the areas around the farm and thus make sure that the area remains Jewish! Since the establishment of the farm, we have faced quite a few economic challenges. Unfortunately, today the farm is not a source of income and we have to work around the clock to ensure income and cover the farm's debts and expenses. Today - we get to actually see the success of the mission, when we were informed that Ariel is starting this year the construction of the continuation of the city at the point where we sit. Despite the many challenges involved in establishing a farm and operating it, we want to continue this mission. If each family makes a standing order of about NIS 100 or more, we will know that we have income to cover the farm's expenses and debts and we will be able to further promote our activities in the field.
