The Journey to Camino De Santiago of Bernardo and Asaf for Save a Child's Heart

This is a father and son initiative on the journey of "Camino de Santiago" My name is Bernardo Sheinberg, the CFO of Save a Child's Heart. About a year ago, I had a heart attack. I was treated by the dedicated and excellent medical team of Wolfson Medical Center. I personally experienced the meaning of access to optimal and life-saving medicine and I can't imagine the difficulty parents in developing countries go through who cannot give it to their children. Together with my son, Assaf, we decided, out of passion and desire to do a good deed, to dedicate our trekking trip to fundraising for a life-saving heart surgery for one of the organization's children! We are here to do good for everyone, in 2021 we finished establishing Sylvan Adams Children's Hospital at the Wolfson Medical Center, which provides advanced medical care for children in Holon, Bat Yam, South Tel Aviv, and Jaffa. Our core value is Tikkun Olam - doing good to repair the world and believing that every child deserves the best medical care, regardless of race, religion, gender, nationality or financial status.
