Donors: 30
LAHAV - For The Premature Babies In Israel is a nationwide non-profit organization established by parents of premature babies.
The association's address is in Kibbutz Erez, which is in the surrounding of Gaza Strip.
The organization's goals are to promote and improve the medical, social and developmental status of premature babies in Israel and their families. More goals are to raise awareness for prematurity outcomes and to promote better care of the NICUs in Israel in collaboration with the Israeli neonatal society.
One of many activities is to make breast milk available to every baby in need. Before 08/2020 promoting the establishment of the first Mother's Milk Bank in Israel, then promoting the circular that defines who must receive, and also involvement in exceptional cases and in the bank's steering committee.
In this time of war and peril, Lahav is expanding its services to support babies in desperate need for donor breast milk.
Many mothers and infants have been separated due to recruitment of women to the army reserves,
mothers who are in captivity and mothers who have lost their lives.
As we know breast milk is the best nutrition for babies.
Human breast milk can be lifesaving for babies.
With the help of your generous donation, we can make breast milk accessible to infants now and in the future.
Any amount, regardless of how small, will go a long way in helping these infants in need.
Let's save lives.
And if not life itself, certainly its quality.
"Whoever saves one soul, it is as if he saved the whole world"
