Owen's Bar Mitzvah Fundraiser for Animal Angels

For my Bar Mitzvah project, I am helping to raise money and awareness for Animal Angels, an incredible non-profit in Israel that brings together rehabilitated animals who have been mistreated with children and adults who themselves are suffering. Animal Angels provides pet therapy and animal assisted healing to people in need in Israel, ranging from children to Holocaust survivors. In light of the unspeaking tragedies that are occurring in Israel and the overwhelming amount of loss and suffering, the healing and joy provided by therapy pets is needed now more than ever. I wish I could be there to personally volunteer in Israel with Monty, my certified volunteer therapy dog, and help bring comfort to others, but I pray that the power of animal companionship will help others find peace and happiness.
