National Small Business Emergency Response Center

The present war facing Israel is bringing about major disruptions of day-to-day life for citizens across the country. More than mere inconvenience, these disruptions threaten the livelihoods and economic wellbeing of small business owners. The current situation has forced many of these small business owners to reduce or halt their business activity– for some, because their business is located in combat zones near Israel's northern and southern borders; others are parents whose children's schools were closed; the situation is particularly challenging for business owners whose spouses or partners have been drafted to military reserve service. Small business owners need urgent assistance. The sudden reduction in their business activity threatens their ability to make ends meet and the livelihoods of their families.  To offer practical solutions for this emergency, Yozmot Atid has founded a National Emergency Response Center for Small Businesses, including: • Call Center, staffed by volunteers to offer business consultation in crisis, emotional support and guidance on utilizing government entitlements • Recovery Package for Small Businesses, including cash bridge grants, professional training and personal mentorship guidance • Additional Solutions, including targeted professional training to assist businesses adapt throughout the ongoing crisis, and long-term recovery Through the emergency center, we expect to assist approximately 6,000 business owners throughout Israel.  With your help, we can help thousands of families stay afloat during this crisis and keep them out of poverty.
