supporting students in uncertain times

In the shadow of war, Azrieli College of Engineering Jerusalem has responded to the complex and dynamic situation in Israel and is committed to remain faithful to the college's vision - welcoming anyone who wants to earn a degree in engineering, regardless of cultural or religious background.  Israel defends itself on several fronts, and Azrieli College is responding along with everyone else. The college is attentive to the changing needs of our community. Unfortunately, emergency situations are not new to us - we have mobilized in the past for emergencies and responded quickly, taking into account short and long-term needs, and our Resilience Center functions to ensure continued strength and adaptation for crises of all kinds moving forward. Along with studies, we have provided our faculty, students, and alumni with the support they need, including:  • Counseling and emotional support;  • Workshops for student-facing faculty and staff and interfacing with PTSD;   • Academic support with a special focus on students in reserve duty;  • Support for distance learning, including laptops for students in need;  • Workshops for academic staff on effective distance teaching using artificial intelligence tools;  • Comprehensive equipment for recording lectures;  • Upgrading shelters and safe spaces on campus;  Our ability to respond in this way is thanks to your friendship, involvement, partnership and support. As supporters and stakeholders, you are entitled to know how we cope and what we do.  Many of you have asked us "how can we help?" Your donations toward student scholarships help us to envelope our students with the academic, financial, and social support they need to thrive. We welcome, need, and appreciate every donation, and ask you to consider forwarding this request to your network of contacts. Donations to the College are tax deductible in the US, Canada, and Israel. For other countries or any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact Judi Srebro, Director of Resource Development at judisr@jce.ac.il. We hope that we can share more happy updates in the future, and share wishes for better news, and a better reality. Thank you for your continued involvement and support!
