On October 7, the Hamas terrorist organization launched an unprecedented attack on Israel’s citizens. It had killed more than 1,200 Israelis and kidnapped 240 citizens, including tens of young children, into tunnels under Gaza. Israel opened an all-out war on Hamas with clear objectives: Remove Hamas from power and the release of our hostages. This war is now expanded to the northern border, against Hizballah terrorist organization.  Yahalom is IDF’s Special Forces Unit dedicated to finding and destroying terror tunnels and eliminating bomb and missile threats. We rely on our soldier’s bravery and training but also on the latest technology of drones, light detecting lasers, terrain robots and more. The IDF provides many of these technologies, but the time is running out and we need to move better and faster.
