Purim Beity (Home Base IL)

This Purim and on, you can donate to the people in need! 'Home Base il' was established to bring about a significant change in the lives of the homeless pepole for their reintegration into society. We have developed a unique 'pre-rehabilitation' therapeutic approach based on creating a trust-based relationship between the participant and the staff members and we work to realize rights and receive allowances through personal accompaniment over time and at the same time provide help in finding housing and employment and mediation for various care providers. We currently accompany over 300 homeless women and men with the help of eight programs: soccer teams for homeless adults and at-risk youth, a choir group for homeless women, a locker project for street children a community Friday meals in Jerusalem and street medicine - providing medical treatment and linking to health services in the community. Many participants report success in detoxing from addictive substances, rehabilitation and creation of family and social ties. In honor of Purim we want to give the homeless pepole a home feeling like we do all year by handing out Mishloach Manot(משלוחי מנות) and to continue our activity. That's where we need your help.
