YONINA ARNOLD - Running for Hope - 2024

Hi Family and Friends 😊 I am excited to share with you that I have committed myself to run in the upcoming New York City Marathon this November. While the marathon itself is a personal challenge, I am using this opportunity to raise funds for an organization that is doing incredible work: Shalva. Shalva holds a special place in my heart because of their unwavering dedication to helping special needs children in Jerusalem. After doing a year of my Sherut Leumi with special needs children, I witnessed how organizations like Shalva provide essential services and support, empowering these children to reach their full potential and thrive despite their challenges. The recent war in Gaza has only exacerbated the challenges faced by vulnerable populations, including special needs children. As someone deeply affected by the ongoing crisis, I have turned to running as a means to cope with the stress and uncertainty. However, I refuse to let this adversity paralyze me. Instead, I am channeling my energy into something positive by running for a cause I believe in. By supporting my marathon run, you will be contributing to the vital work of Shalva and will be helping me achieve my personal goal. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated.
