Yinon Ashkenazy – Running for a cause – Running for Shalva Shalva is an NGO dedicated to the inclusion of kids and adults with disabilities through employment programs, community initiatives, and disability research. Shalva helps kids and their families with everything from early childhood programs to adult community integration. They have a large day center and many specific programs that require routine financing, especially in times when contributions are diverted to other urgent and essential needs. This is the best way to help Israeli society and its diverse parts evolve. Society can flourish only when all community members are appreciated and promoted. We strengthen the whole through equal integration of the weaker parts. Shalva’s center is in Jerusalem and helps everybody in this diverse city.
