Rebuilding Education, Resilience, and Hope for the Students of Manor-CabriManor-Cabri Middle School, part of the Manor-Cabri non-profit organization, operates in the Mateh Asher Regional Council in northern Israel. The school is located in Kibbutz Eilon, near the northern border, in one of the most challenging regions of the country. Before the outbreak of the war, approximately 390 students were enrolled in the school. Even now, many of them, along with 45% of the teaching staff, remain displaced due to the security situation. Despite these difficult times, we are doing everything possible to continue providing our students with a stable and nurturing learning environment.
A Pedagogical Vision Centered on StudentsManor-Cabri is committed to an educational approach that places students at the center and focuses on the learning process. This method is based on three key stages: skill acquisition, inquiry-based learning, and creating a final product that reflects the entire learning journey. Despite the enormous challenges we have faced, we have managed to hold onto this vision, even under extraordinary circumstances.
A Journey of Challenge and DeterminationSince the outbreak of the "Iron Swords" war, our community has been forced to leave its home. Many of our students and teachers have scattered across the country, from Sde Boker to Tiberias. Amid this chaos, we succeeded in re-establishing the school in Kibbutz Beit HaEmek. After a few months, we relocated again to Kibbutz Lohamei HaGeta’ot, where buildings belonging to the Holocaust Museum now serve as our temporary school facility.
Even under constant threat and severe staff shortages, we have, with limited but determined resources, rebuilt a thriving educational institution. We continue to face daily challenges with the goal of providing our students with stability, support, and high-quality education.
A Call to PartnershipTo provide our students with the resources they need and to strengthen their resilience, we need your help. We invite you to partner with us in building an innovative school that will allow us to give our students the very best, even in this challenging reality.
To achieve this, we are raising funds for several key projects:
2. A Technological Innovation Hub
A space equipped with advanced technologies and artificial intelligence tools to support inquiry-based learning and help mitigate the shortage of staff.
4. Learning and Enrichment Spaces
These spaces will serve student groups in various fields, such as music, makerspaces, and the arts, enriching the learning experience and providing emotional support during these difficult times and beyond.
6. A Therapeutic Kitchen for Special Education Students
This kitchen will equip special education students with essential life skills and help strengthen the personal and social resilience of all students.
Costs and ImpactEach project costs hundreds of thousands of shekels. Every donation brings us closer to creating a supportive, innovative, and rehabilitative educational environment. For detailed information about the cost of each project, please contact us.
