BAG to School

Latet 2024 Bag to School Project has officially begun. The war has brought many challenges and difficulties for evacuees and families in need. As the new school year approaches, many families will struggle to purchase school supplies for their children. The goal of this project is to raise funds to purchase school kits, which include backpacks, educational supplies, and food for children from evacuee and impoverished families. Together, we can help alleviate some of these families' burdens and ease their worries. Each kit costs 250 NIS, but any amount will help us reach those in need. According to the 2023 Alternative Poverty Report by Latet, 73% of parents receiving aid from Latet reported that they could not afford basic school supplies for their children. Every year, we launch a campaign ahead of the new school year to raise as many kits as possible, supporting thousands of families. Equal educational opportunities start with the most basic needs.
