"From three comes one"- Ofra Elroy

In honor of publishing the book "From Three Comes One", Ofra Elroy and the Big Brother Big Sister of Israel Association are launching a special campaign – Donors will receive a complimentary copy of the book.  All proceeds will go to the Big Brother Big Sister of Israel Association (Registered Association). About the Book "From Three Comes One" is the story of a boy named Or, who, along with a chair removed from the game of musical chairs, learns to cope with feelings of social rejection. "A friend joining in is no fun at all," he tells his mother. A tear escapes his eye, jealousy bursts out, destroying and dismantling. The chair patiently explains to him that, "Sometimes together and sometimes apart, you can see that not everything is lost." Sometimes together and sometimes apart, this is an important movement in development. "Even if from three comes one, he is never alone!!!" About the Author Ofra Elroy is a clinical and educational psychologist, a supervisor with many years of experience in working with children and youth, guiding psychologists, parents, educators, and managers. In addition to this, she served as a senior director in the educational psychological service of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality. Currently, she is the coordinator of the Tel Aviv District, on behalf of the Ministry of Education's Educational Psychological Service, for the prevention and treatment of depression and suicide. She also has a private clinic. Ofra is married and a mother of three sons. About the Association The big brother big sister of israel association has been operating since 2003 with the goal of providing children, youth, and young adults in situations of risk and distress with professional and personal support that puts them at the center and enables them to develop normally into adulthood. The core activity of the association is based on pairing each child or youth with a volunteer mentor – a "big brother" or "big sister" – who serves as a significant adult figure for those who need it. The association receives referrals each year for children, youth, and young adults in various life situations, including those at risk, orphans, iron swords war orphans, those without family support, children and youth with disabilities, siblings of children with disabilities, and more.
