Both did not return from the trip. Amri was killed on the spot and Ili died the next day after being in critical condition. Aili's organs were donated and ironically his tragic death allowed several children to continue living. In August, Eli was supposed to celebrate his 18th birthday. We chose to celebrate his birthday, alongside the great pain, in a community event aimed at raising funds for organ transplants at Schneider Hospital. The event, which will take place on September 20 and will be open to the public, will include the sale of second hand items, gift boxes for the holiday, the sale of baked goods, flower pots, flowers and more.
