A Good Neighbor - Community. Giving. Doing

With thousands of families across Israel struggling to meet their most basic needs, Shachen Tov stands on the forefront of the fight for their welfare. The rising prices, decreasing incomes and tense security situation are weighing down on the shoulders of many, making their day-to-day reality almost unbearable. For these families, Shachen Tov is a shining beacon of hope and support. The organization was founded in Jerusalem in 1999 as a local initiative headed by a group of young adults to support their community. Today, it continues to promote families with a low socioeconomic background while emphasizing local community and involvement. The organization runs entirely on volunteer work, with no salaried workers, and has been expanding over the past 25 years to provide a variety of community services across Israel, all thanks to thousands of dedicated volunteers. The difficult economic reality of the last year has brought about a sharp increase in the number of families in need of assistance. Shachen Tov continues to work tirelessly to provide aid for its beneficiaries, allowing them to live in comfort and dignity, and ensuring that they continue to receive the support that they need. As Shachen Tov relies primarily on private donations, it is facing serious financial challenges during these difficult times. Now, we are turning to you with the humble request to partner with us in our work. In the upcoming holiday season, as we are doubling our efforts and distributing thousands of additional food packages, your support is essential to allow us to continue our work. Join us, support our work and your donation will help additional families live in comfort and dignity.
