Mamram for combat soldiers

Donors: 214

The MAMRAM Alumni Association for Soldiers Each year, about 20,000 soldiers are discharged from the IDF, with approximately 10 percent of them integrating into the high-tech industry. These discharged soldiers often find themselves entering civilian life without guidance or professional training, facing significant challenges in the job market, especially in the high-tech world, where the gap between a discharged combat soldier and a graduate of a technological unit is vast and noticeable. Over the last decade, the MAMRAM Alumni Association — representing the graduates of the IDF's first elite technological unit — has worked tirelessly to support its alumni, assist entrepreneurs in launching and advancing their startups, and continue strengthening the ecosystem that has become Israel’s economic engine. We promote values of excellence, entrepreneurship, and groundbreaking professionalism, which have become part of the DNA of the entire Israeli high-tech industry. In the past year, and following the war, we decided to officially add the integration of soldiers into the high-tech industry as a formal component of the association's activities, driven by our belief that it is our duty to help those soldiers who wish to join this industry. To date, with the support of partnerships in the high-tech sector, we have successfully implemented: - Lectures at discharge conferences for elite units. - Mentoring the "Alpha Program," which trains soldiers in managing technological systems and working with data. - Two special cohorts of our internship program for combat soldiers, which significantly accelerates their entry into the Israeli high-tech workforce. - Product management training in collaboration with "Warriors for High-Tech," the IDF, and other entities. MAMRAM Alumni Association, Israel's first high-tech brand, with a community of over 15,000 alumni, will do everything possible to be the best big brother and partner for Israeli soldiers who want to integrate into high-tech. We will work relentlessly to close the gaps through unique programs, strong and quality collaborations, and targeted mentorship processes. We have launched a campaign to ensure we can help hundreds of discharged soldiers each year to quickly transition into the high-tech world! All the funds raised in this campaign will be allocated solely to this project and not to the other activities of the MAMRAM Alumni Association. The career gap between a soldier who chooses to study high-tech and someone who served in MAMRAM or a technological unit is a 10-year gap! A gap that is extremely difficult to bridge! And we are going to change that! These soldiers have given so much for us; now it's our turn to give back—big time. Join us, and together we will change the picture!
