Doing good - accessibility and renovation of a bathroom for a family with disabilities

In this project, we are working to assist a wonderful family supported by social services. The parents are dealing with both physical and cognitive disabilities, and they have six children. Three of the children have cognitive disabilities, and one of them is affected by both physical and cognitive challenges. One of the children lives nearby and helps care for the parents and siblings who live with them. The family lives in an old, unstable caravan like house. The mother, who now uses a wheelchair due to a deterioration in her health, struggles to function in an environment that is not accessible. The bathroom in the house is not adapted to her needs: there are issues with sealing and flooring, the wheelchair does not fit through the doorway, and the current shower is inaccessible and even poses a dangerous obstacle. The family lacks the financial means and expertise to renovate and make the home accessible. This is where we step in, and we need your help to raise the necessary funds to improve their living conditions and allow them to live with dignity and safety.
