• Derech Eretz Kadma L’Torah Fewer and fewer are the educational options for religious parents in Israel who seek to educate their children in the path of Torah both religiously and morally. Families often find themselves forced to choose between schools with stronger, but more extreme religious studies, and those with robust ethical studies but weaker Torah studies. We believe that families shouldn’t have to make that choice, that Torah U’Madda should be available to every Jewish child.  DOR creates educational options for parents who seek excellent moral, secular, and religious studies for their children. Ben Adam L’makom & Ben Adam L’chavero To raise children and shape  a society that holds the relationship with G-d, as well as the relationship with others sacred, we need schools that encourage deep learning, critical thought, and wider world views as an integral part of Torah learning. The Me”ir religious educational network offers parents positive options and inspires them to actively choose this path. We recruit stellar staff and eliminate obstacles that prevent parents from choosing these options. Dor, Mei”r education builds a brand of Torah observance that lessens extremism and strengthens the balanced religious community.  Mei”r education’s core values: • Commitment (Mechuyav): Dedicated observance of Halacha, with equal educational opportunities for boys and girls. • Faith (Emuni): Deep, personal spiritual connection to Jewish tradition and spirituality. • “Israeliness” (Yisraeli): A unifying approach to all segments of Israeli society and the Jewish people while remaining proud of their religious identity. • Broad-Mindedness (Rachav Da'at): Encouraging critical thinking, creativity, and the pursuit of excellence across science, arts, humanities, and spiritual disciplines. DOR’s strategic approach: • Policy change: We secure the status of moderate schools and ensuring fair competition in the allocation of resources • Strengthening Communities: We work with parents and education departments to increase attendance in Mei”r schools. • Recruiting Educators: We recruit and guide open-minded educators and administrators committed to moderate Orthodox Judaism  Torah and Mesorah. • Building Language: We present complex educational concepts and provide answers to dilemmas faced by our youth, helping them be both religious and tolerant, building a culture and language.
