18 months ago, we lost our 16 year-old daughter Tamar to cancer, following a hard battle, infused with great optimism and hope. In an instant, we found ourselves new members of the family of grieving parents. Losing a child creates a never-ending pain. Hearts are left bleeding and torn, with an un-fillable hole created by our beloved child’s absence. It’s impossible to wake up the next morning and carry on with life as it was. Parents grieving children lost to war and terror receive so much support, both for the mental and financial impact of such a devastating loss.
