The Next Generation of Champions Is at Risk: Help Us Save the Future of Israeli Archery!

Donors: 10

Hello, My name is Yagel-Hai Ravid, and I am an Olympic archer in the Israeli national archery team. I entered this unique sport when I was just 10 years old, following my father and older brother, who were both involved in the sport. I trained for three years at one of the association's clubs, until the age of 13. That was when I was diagnosed with cancer, which forced me to change direction from everything I knew and focus on the treatments I had to undergo. The treatment period was not easy for me and my family, but after a tough year of struggle, we received the good news that I had defeated the cancer. After my recovery, it was clear beyond any doubt that I wanted to return to the sport and focus on it in the most professional way possible, with one clear goal – to represent the archery field and the State of Israel at the Olympics. Today, five years after my recovery and two years after joining the Israeli national team, I work hard and with enthusiasm alongside my teammates. I am proud to be the younger generation on the Israeli team, which, despite being relatively young and small, has already managed to establish its position and achieve great results at the European and global levels. I strive to continue this chain of success and bring honor and achievement to the sport and the State of Israel on the international stage. As part of the demand to improve in archery and achieve results, I must participate in international competitions, including the Youth World Championship, which will take place at the end of the summer season. This competition is critical for me, and it will significantly impact the continuation of my career in the sport. Unfortunately, the costs of traveling and participating in these competitions are neither easy nor cheap. This is where I need your help. Any financial assistance you can provide will enable me to cover the expenses of attending international competitions, gaining experience in the international arena, achieving results for the State of Israel, and proving to the world that I have the ability to succeed and go far in this sport. I am confident that with your support, I will be able to fulfill my goal and break through the glass ceiling that is limiting my progress and development in the field. I thank you in advance for any donation, large or small, that will allow me to walk the path towards my dream.
