On the 23rd of Shevat 5784, at the height of his spiritual and physical activity, the heart of our beloved David Shimon Cohen z"l suddenly stopped, and he joined his beloved heroic and holy son, Captain Nathan, who fell in Operation Protective Edge. David was privileged to say goodbye to the world after fulfilling the mitzvah of honouring his parents on this day, completing a minyan and blessing the worshippers with the priestly blessing.
