Our MissionThe Be'er Sheva Badminton Club is more than just a sports club. Located in the heart of the Negev, our mission is to empower children and adults from Be'er Sheva, the entire southern region of Israel, and beyond by fostering physical, mental, and cultural growth through the sport of badminton. We also provide training sessions in Beit Kama to further extend our reach. The sport is suitable for everyone, and we are especially proud to have many girls and women in our club. This is not common everywhere, but our club provides a uniquely supportive platform that empowers women to thrive and grow in the sport. What We OfferA Safe and Inclusive EnvironmentSince our inception, we have provided a safe and inclusive environment for people of all ages and skill levels to engage in physical activity, build confidence, and form lasting friendships. Supporting IDF Disabled VeteransOne of our players serves as a coach for Beit Halohem in Be'er Sheva, training IDF disabled veterans in badminton. This highlights our dedication to inclusivity and community support. Regional ParticipationSeveral of our players have resided in kibbutzim near Otef Gaza. Following the recent war, many were forced to relocate, impacting their ability to participate regularly. Competitions and AchievementsOur club actively participates in numerous competitions across Israel, involving both children and adults. We proudly field two league teams: • National League Team • Regional League Team Recent Achievements• Israeli champion in Boys' Doubles U-11 (under 11) (2024) • Second place in Israel National Championship U-11 Boys' Singles (2024) • Third place in the Israel National Championship in category Women's Doubles (2024) Why We Need Your HelpTo continue making a positive impact on our community, we need your support.
