"Moon Connection" is a project born out of a song I sang during the memorial service for Omri Tamari, a classmate of mine from Keshet School in Mazkeret Batya. In that moment, singing a song that had come to his mother in a dream, I realized the power of music—to touch, to connect, and to commemorate. Following this realization, a group of us, musician friends, reached out to bereaved families in Mazkeret Batya, offering to produce an album of songs in memory of their loved ones—our friends. Songs that would give the fallen a name and memory through melodies, spread their light, embrace the families, and create a profound connection between all of us. Today, the project is underway, driven by the deep desire of nine bereaved families to commemorate their loved ones through music that resonates with the deepest strings of the soul. Your contribution will enable us to produce a high-quality album, reviving Israeli songs inspired by the spirit of the fallen and their families. This will create a musical memory that connects us as a community and as a nation. 💛
