Reestablishing the Yesod HaMa'aleh Archive

"A people that does not honor its past, its present is poor, and its future is shrouded in mist." – Yigal Allon An archive is a place where history is preserved for both present and future generations. The Yesod HaMa'aleh Archive is moving to its new home in the former "Gan Alonim" building. To transform the space into an archive that preserves and displays the history of the community, we need planning, creativity, and, above all, financial resources, in addition to funding from the municipality and state institutions. The archive will not only serve as a place for collecting historical materials but also as a venue for activities, lectures, and exhibitions for all ages. It will be an interactive space that combines local history with the history of the people and the state. Volunteers are already working on digitizing materials, and we are happy to receive additional materials and private collections. However, we are still at the beginning of the journey. We call on you, the residents and supporters of the community, to contribute to the Yesod HaMa'aleh Archive to help turn it into a site that honors our heritage and builds a worthy future. Join us in preserving our heritage! The Archive Team.
