About the Project They take care of us all year round; now it is our turn to ensure they have a full holiday table! Every day, hundreds of male and female service members from the Aminadav association set out to volunteer out of a sense of mission and faith in people and Israeli society. These service volunteers accompany children with special needs, assist the elderly, strengthen families, support the healthcare system, and operate in educational frameworks and communities across the entire country. They dedicate a year of their lives to give to others. In the month of Elul, right before the New Year, the time has come for us to give back to them. Giving back to those who give all year. Behind the dedication, smiles, and hard work, there are about 200 Aminadav service volunteers who come from families facing complex financial situations. Even when the reality at home is difficult, they wake up every morning and choose to go out and contribute to others. Towards Rosh Hashanah, we want to make sure that they and their families can also start the New Year with dignity and joy. To that end, we are raising donations to purchase 400 NIS holiday gift vouchers per family, intended for the volunteers' families who need it. For a family that struggles every month to make ends meet, a holiday gift voucher is much more than a gift. It allows them to prepare the holiday table with dignity. It gives them a little breathing room. And above all, it says: You give all year round. Now we are here for you. Michal Chose to Give Michal (false name), 19 years old, volunteers at a kindergarten for children with special needs. Every morning, she travels for nearly an hour to reach the children who await her with a smile. She offers them patience, warmth, attentiveness, and a sense of security. But when she returns home, she faces a different reality. Michal grew up in a large family where every expense is calculated and every shekel counts. Even so, she chose to dedicate a whole year to others. When we asked her what gives her the strength to keep going, she replied: "When I see the children's smiles, I know I'm in the right place. But I also know that back home, my parents struggle anew every month to make ends meet." Michal is one of hundreds of service volunteers who choose every day to give of themselves, even when their personal struggles are not simple. Every donation will help us provide gift vouchers to the service volunteers' families in need, allowing them to enter the New Year with dignity and joy. Together we will open the year for them with joy!! Our goal is to reach about 200 service volunteers in need and their families before Rosh Hashanah. Every donation - big or small - brings us closer to the goal. They give of themselves all year round. This Elul - it is our turn to give to them. Together, let's say thank you to those who dedicate a year of their lives for the sake of Israeli society. Together, we will help their families celebrate Rosh Hashanah with dignity. And together, we will open the New Year with a good deed. Starting the year with giving. Donate now and give our female service members a great start to the New Year
