Ellian Goldsmith - Afikim 2025

My name is Ellian Goldsmith, and this May, I’ll be turning 12—just like 'Run for Afikim'. This will be the 12th year of this incredible and meaningful run.  For years, my Abba and my beloved uncle Ari z”l ran side by side, to raise funds for Afikim. Ari's commitment to this cause was truly inspiring and now the run is in his loving memory. In the past few years, my Rockman and Goldsmith cousins joined the run too, starting the next generation of Afikim runners. As a little kid, I used to think they were absolutely crazy for doing such a long and exhausting run- but now I'll be one of them. Over the years, while spending Shabbat in Eilat with the amazing Afikim family, I’ve listened to countless stories—stories of hope, and transformation. Stories of kids whose lives have been changed because of Afikim. Knowing that I get to play even a small role in this mission fills me with pride and I feel incredibly privileged to have this opportunity. Please consider donating to this important cause.
