The Trans Center – A Home for the Community, A Force for ChangeOpened in July 2022, the Trans Center is the first and only center in Israel dedicated entirely to the trans community—by the community, for the community. It combines experience, knowledge, and professional expertise with on-the-ground action, offering a holistic approach across various aspects of life while serving as a central support hub. We are here to ensure that every person on the trans spectrum has a supportive address, accessible services, and a welcoming community. We are in the midst of difficult years, where incitement, violence, and organized hate are intensifying. As a community, we are facing unprecedented threats to our hard-won achievements and the rights we have been fighting for over 50 years. At the same time, under the cover of war, the government has brutally attempted to cut LGBTQ+ budgets, while other funding sources have been diverted to war efforts. As resources shrink, our needs only continue to grow.
