My dear son, Gabriel Yishai Barel, a young man full of light, joy, and love for humanity, was cruelly taken from me in Nova. Every day that passes since then is a journey of endless pain and longing. As a mother who lost her son, I am looking for a way to keep his memory alive. Not only in my personal memory, but in the world – a place where his light will continue to burn. Out of the pain and loss, we decided to include a Torah scroll to lift his soul. A book that will accompany prayers, provide warmth, and connect hearts – just as he was in his life. I appeal to you, with all my heart, to take part in this memorial. To be partners in an act of love, faith, and connection.
